TransUnion Executives Named Chicago CIO and CISO of the Year® Finalists

ORBIE Awards have recognized technology leadership, innovation and excellence since 1998

Swati Shah, TransUnion (NYSE: TRU) U.S. Markets CIO, has been named a Large Enterprise Chicago CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Awards Finalist. And Bill Shields, TransUnion (NYSE: TRU) Chief Information Security Officer, has been named a Chicago CISO of the Year® ORBIE® Awards Finalist.The ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States honoring chief information officers and chief information security officers who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership.

And Bill is being recognized for his important role in TransUnion’s security.” 

Swati Shah Contributing to TransUnion’s “Product Engineering” Mindset

Shah is a finalist in the ORBIE® Awards Large Enterprise category which honors chief information officers (CIOs) who are driving innovation and transforming leading organizations with over $2.5 billion in annual revenue. Shah leads TransUnion’s U.S. Markets technology team of over 700 technologists serving customers nationally.

Bill Shields Leads Team Securing and Protecting Information Entrusted to TransUnion

Shields is one of five finalists for the CISO ORBIE Award. His and his team’s work is broad, spanning cybersecurity oeprations, security engineering and architecture, technology risk, compliance management, information security program enablement, identity/access management and security evaluation of all mergers and acquisitions.
