TransUnion Canada Announces Paul Devereaux to Lead its Financial Services Team
TransUnion Canada today announced Paul Devereaux has joined the company as vice president of financial services. With more than 25 years of experience in business development and sales, Devereaux will lead the financial services team as it continues to expand TransUnion’s market share in Canada.
“Paul brings extensive experience in business development strategy and has a proven track record of building highly effective sales teams,” said Todd Skinner, president of TransUnion Canada. “We are excited to welcome Paul to TransUnion Canada as we continue to deliver high quality solutions for our customers throughout the nation.”
Prior to joining TransUnion, Devereaux led Canadian sales for SecureKey Technologies. Devereaux has also served as executive vice president of business development and senior vice president of credit and card products for Choice Capital, and vice president of sales and consulting for FICO. Devereaux previously worked at TransUnion Canada as director of financial services.
Devereaux will be replacing Dan Smith, who served as the vice president of sales for the financial services vertical since 2012. Smith came to TransUnion Canada by way of the company’s U.S. operations, and will be returning to its Chicago headquarters for a new sales position.
“Dan played an instrumental role during the last three years to help our company grow our revenues in the financial marketplace,” said Skinner. “We are fortunate to have had Dan on the team, and we are excited about the experience and energy Paul brings back to the company in this important role.”
