Leading Government Healthcare Executive Henry Chao Appointed to TransUnion Government Advisory Board

TransUnion (NYSE:TRU) today announced that it has appointed Henry Chao, solutions architect and strategic advisor with Tier1 Consulting Group, LLC, to its Government Advisory Board. The recently launched Advisory Board provides TransUnion with valuable perspective and key insights into the unique needs of the public sector.

A recognized and trusted government healthcare executive, Henry Chao has forged strategic relationships and formed coalitions with government and commercial organizations across the healthcare ecosystem to achieve common policy and business objectives. Mr. Chao brings over 20 years of experience leading national scale implementations of complex healthcare programs for the federal government.

As Chief Technology Officer with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Mr. Chao established technical standards and reference architectures to promote greater efficiency and responsiveness to key healthcare business processes. Mr. Chao also optimized secure and efficient data sharing across federal and state programs, supporting the insurance marketplace under the Affordable Care Act.
