TransUnion Welcomes Boca Raton Mayor Susan Haynie and Council Members to its Growing Boca Raton Office

TransUnion (NYSE: TRU) welcomed Boca Raton Mayor Susan Haynie and city council members today to its Boca Raton, Fla. office during a business appreciation visit. TransUnion’s Boca Raton office is comprised of 220 employees and is expected to grow to 250 by year’s end.

“Since 2013, TransUnion has been an instrumental part of the South Florida community providing both meaningful employment opportunities while also assisting several local law enforcement agencies with our solutions,” said Tim Martin, president of TransUnion’s specialized risk group. “In particular, our TLOxp® offering has helped thousands of law enforcement agencies, including departments in Broward, Dade and Palm Beach counties, replace otherwise time-consuming legwork with point-and-click ease. We are honored to host Mayor Susan Haynie and other local government officials to highlight how TransUnion provides information for good to both our customers and consumers.”

TLOxp is a data fusion tool that includes search and locate technology and advanced linking algorithms that scour billions of public and proprietary records – an estimated 95% of the U.S. population. The technology delivers actionable data such as comprehensive profiles of people or businesses through a user-friendly interface in a matter of seconds. The advanced locating technology in TLOxp helps law enforcement officers get closer to locating suspects and important witnesses, verify identities and link connections faster.

The TransUnion Boca Raton office also provides office space to the Child Rescue Coalition, a non-profit organization that uses advanced technology to help law enforcement track, arrest and prosecute those who use the Internet to harm children. The Child Rescue Coalition offers its services free to local, national and global law enforcement agencies, and has helped support the capture of more than 8,000 criminals and the rescue of more than 1,900 children.

“With 220 employees and plans to hire 30 more this year, TransUnion is the perfect example of Boca’s thriving corporate community,” said Boca Raton Mayor Susan Haynie. “It’s a pleasure having the opportunity to meet with their team and thank them for their valuable contribution to our city."

TransUnion recently completed a full renovation of its 55,000-square-foot Boca Raton office complete with an open floor plan, high tech video conferencing capabilities, game room, massage chairs and convertible work stations.
