TransUnion Joins with Senator Kirk to Support Child Rescue Coalition Training
Support helps law enforcement protect children from sexual exploitation online
TransUnion (NYSE: TRU) joined with U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) and Child Rescue Coalition (CRC) this week to support the training of Illinois law enforcement and prosecutorial bodies to shield and rescue children from sexual exploitation.
CRC provides investigators with advanced data and technology to help track, arrest and convict those who use the Internet to harm children. TransUnion is a founding sponsor of CRC and introduced the Senator and his team to the organization last year.
“We believe that information can be a powerful force for good to help build stronger communities, in this case by helping to identify and prosecute child predators. Child Rescue Coalition is helping to bring justice to terrible crimes, but they need help from all of us to do more. Senator Kirk has a strong track record of fighting exploitation, and we recognized a great opportunity to join forces to protect our children.”

We won't stop until law enforcement across the state have access to the best technology available to keep kids safe.”
In the last four years, the Child Rescue Coalition has helped law enforcement worldwide rescue more than 1,500 children and make approximately 6,500 arrests.
